molines

The village-resort of Molines is in the Beauregard mountains, and its highest point is the Pic de Châteaurenard. The Aigue Agnelle, which rises at the mountain pass of the same name on the border with Italy, flows through Molines. Closed in winter, the pass can be accessed using ‘Nordic’ equipment (snowshoes, cross-country skis) or on foot.

The village of Molines and its surrounding hamlets are well-known for their distinctive log cabins or ‘fustes’.

The Molines pistes have FIS accreditation to host international downhill ski races and trials.
