Local arts, crafts and produce

During the long Queyras winters, the men and women would spend a lot of time indoors perfecting their crafts. For the men this was usually in furniture craft, decorating the wood with the traditional carved rosettes and for the women, fine lace-work. The perfect representative of country life, the Queyras cheeses will delight your taste buds. But they are just a sample of the mouth watering traditional produce that comes from these 8 mountain villages. Honey, sweets, infusions, cured meats and liqueurs are all to savor without moderation!
