The Col Agnel and the Col Izoard

The Col Agnel (altitude 2744m) and the Col Izoard (altitude 2361m) are two high mountain passes, the latter being on the 'Grande Route des Alpes', (made famous by Alexander the great and Napoleon). From the top of the Col Agnel you have breathtaking views of the beautiful Mont-Viso, the Varaita valley and the village of Chianale in Italy. The Col Izoard is a stunning vantage point over the Briancon valley, the Ecrins, the Font-Sancte and the Ubaye Massif.
